0.33 bottle. Black color with a small, off-white head of poor retention. Aroma of licorice, dark fruits, some caramel. Taste of coffee, dark malts, roast, and delicate fruits. A full body, a creamy texture, and a soft carbonation. Finish is long, features some mango and an interesting touch of vanilla. Overall, quite a nice beer.

Bottle from BottleDog, Edinburgh. Dark brown body with a thin beige head. Good lacing. Aroma of chocolate cake, brown sugar and cocoa powder. Flavour of sweet malt, milk chocolate and vanilla ice-cream. Very sweet but not cloying. Medium body with a creamy texture. Soft fizz. Would be incredible on cask.

12 oz bottle served in a Belgian snifter. Date stamped Nov. 2015. Pours near black and is opaque in the glass. Most of the weak head is soon gone but there’s some lacing nonetheless. Aroma: fruity with hints of booze. Flavor:dark fruit; dark bread; hints of licorice; light alcohol. Feel:medium body with rather light carbonation. Smooth. Overall: OK

33 cl bottle from Mikkeller Webbshop. Black with a large mocha head. Aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate, coffee and iron? Taste reflects the aroma. Medium bodied. Medium bitterness. And medium to high carbonation - "too much in my opinion."
