bottle. black with one finger head. rich cocoa body, substantial coffee, light vanilla and a mild smokiness. light booze. pretty tasty stout. flatmatt (1645) - Northville, Michigan, USA - OCT 8, 2017
12 oz bottle. Pours black with a tan head. Sweet cocoa, roasty coffee, and vanilla aroma. Flavor is slightly syrupy cocoa, with roasty coffee cutting the sweetness, and some suggestions of vanilla and smokiness complementing the flavors. Quite nice. This is a coffee lovers stout. It's really smooth like a cream stout, but has the mouthfeel of a good coffee blend. The vanilla only adds to smooth out the flavors, which gives it a really well rounded flavor without being too much in any direction. Really full flavored, but really delightful. darb85 (313) - Canton, Michigan, USA - AUG 5, 2017

Bottle - pours dark brown tan head - nose and taste of chocolate, vanilla, coffee and milk sugar - medium body
BigBeer45 (1600) - Michigan, USA - JUL 2, 2017
Bottle served in a glass,
this stout was black in the glass, and there was a nice dark tan head,
the nose had aromas of nice roasted malt, roasted coffee, touch of roast bitterness, a little vanilla, milk chocolate with faint bitter/dark chocolate in the background, malt sweetness and faint molasses,
the flavors were roasted malt, some coffee and chocolate, the vanilla was faint,
roast bitterness at the finish, roasted malt, coffee and some cocoa following,
it had a medium mouth feel, average carbonation, and it was creamy on the lips,
I enjoyed the nose more than the flavor,
the flavor was sort of simple, an ok drink. jackl (8605) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JUN 17, 2017
Keg @ Wurst Bier Hall, Fargo. Deep brown pour with no head whatsoever. Fairly vanilla forward. Has some mellow coffee underlying. Somewhat herbal tree bark / sasparilla notes. Drinks fairly sweet. Rocky road fudge and pronounced vanilla. Espresso earthiness. Full body. Soft carb. OK stuff. Travlr (27116) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - JUN 17, 2017
Draft at Wurst. Black color. Vanilla aroma with coffee. Taste is mainly vanilla with sweet roast. oobawa (1966) - Tennessee, USA - JUN 7, 2017
Solid sweet stout, not decadent but still offering up enough chocolate and vanilla to accentuate the deep roasted java vein. Coffee hits strong and hard, and the smoky backbone adds a solid base to offset any cloy notes. Firm, bitter java finish leads to a lengthy deep black stout fade. Amazing roasted chocolate nose. Tasty brew. chinchill (5472) - South Carolina, USA - MAY 22, 2017
12 oz bottle into Belgian snifter glass.
Pours dense pitch black color with a thin brown head with weak retention but manages to eaves some light spotty lacing clinging to the glass.
Aroma: nutty medium roast coffee, toasted dark bread and faint vanilla and coffee. Very nice aroma with admirable complexity, balance and strength.
Flavor: chocolate, cocoa, roasted nuts, medium roast coffee, vanilla, toasted dark bread. Subtle herbal hops. Fine balance and harmony.
Feel: full body with some dryness. Medium-light carbonation. Smooth,
Overall: an excellent coffee cream stout that has great complexity, robustness, and balance. Smooth and dangerously easy to drink with well hidden alcohol.
