A black beer with a disappearing brown head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of chocolate. The flavor is sweet roasted with hints of blueberries before a dry roasted end sets in. This is not a fruitbeer, but rather a dry stout - a lovely beer. joergen (29220) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - FEB 12, 2010

Bottled. Black colour, brown small head. Aroma is caramel, mild roast as well as blueberries and some mild toffee. Flavour is quite similar with also a quite junipery and spicy touch to it. Big time roasted and ashy finish. Pleasant and very fullbodied for being only 4.5 %. Travlr (26130) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - JAN 16, 2012
Bottle. Black color, brown head with good retention. Aroma of peppery dark cocoa and coffee with berries. The flavor of the blueberries is sublte enough to blend pretty well with the roastiness of the stout. cgarvieuk (25992) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUL 3, 2009
UPDATED: AUG 10, 2016 Bottle at home ... Thanks to a trade which escapes me (but feel free to tell me it was you ) ... deep black with a thick fairly firm tan head ... soft roast malt almost coffee nose ... quite a lots of roast with a noticible blueberry presence in the linger ... Its just too bitter for me... but the blueberries are definitly there and there no mistaking its blueberries... good roast ... little coffee ... but just too bitter... as i swirl round mouth i get alternations of the bitterness and the blueberries... sometime they seem to run of to hide behind the bitterness other times they smack me in the face... All round a winner but could be better.
Bottle at fins aug 2016....dark brown black... Thin tan lacing.. Soft sweet chocolate blueberry nose.... Dark roast.. Bitter chocolate roast.. Big malts... Soft milky blueberry finish 4.0 omhper (25750) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - DEC 27, 2011
Bottled. Very black, no head. Rich blueberry aroma with some salmiak. Mid sweet with full body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Some milk chocolate and licorice, plenty of blueberry jam. Long roasty bitter finish. Unconventional but functional use of an otherwise very dull berry. The first time I feel that blueberries contributes to anything in a beer. madmitch76 (25568) - , Essex, ENGLAND - MAY 27, 2012

On tap at the Craft, this version 5.9%. Opaque black beer, small tan head. Viscous smooth palate, mild fine carbonation. Fresh blueberry - lots of! Rich dark malts underneath, a little roasty. Coffee and bitter dark chocolate. Finishes smooth with more blueberry. A beer of real contrasts - and the blueberry just keeps on coming!
