Cask (gravity dispense) at the Bricklayers Arms Yorkshire beer festival, February 2009. Reddish colour. Quite grainy, underbrewed malt aroma with some rather clammy hop. Not too good. Something not quite right here. Maybe not perfectly conditioned.

Clear darker amber coloured beer with medium off-white head. A malty roasted aroma. Wattery palate. Finish is roasted bitter. harrisoni (18573) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - MAR 18, 2009
Cask at Bricklayers Arms Yorskhire Festival 09. Attractive mahogany colour with thin beige head. Butter, but just a touch. Rest of it is a pretty good ESB. It’s a bit dry, in fact definite dryness on the finish. MesandSim (7117) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 13, 2009
A Mes rate: gravicask at the Bricklayers Arms.

Darkish bright copper with a thin off white head. Smells a bit young and unbrewed. Grainy malt, stong earthy notes and yes our resident diacetyl spotter is right, there is a little in there. The flavour is a little better. Fruity malt, some wholemeal bread, still a little grainy but a decent bitter finish with good development sorts things out. Not bad overall.
Cask at Bricklayers Arms Yorskhire Festival, 27th Feb 2009. Reddish amber appearance. Good nose of old leather and tobacco. Lots of malt flavours but a bit stale. Overall, good stuff. DonMagi (5593) - bantervile, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - MAR 5, 2009
Cask at the bricklayers arms beer fest. Alround rating: Nutty brown ale, grasst dry bitter. Pritty simple and a bit boring. wyzzywyz22 (2108) - Wirral, Merseyside, ENGLAND - NOV 20, 2008
Cask, New Oxford, Salford. Caramel malt in the aroma and flavour, plus something I couldn’t quite place, maybe a slight pepperyness? Some bitterness in the finish. Not bad maeib (8749) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - OCT 22, 2008
UPDATED: SEP 28, 2009 Cask conditioned - gravity dispense - Oxford BF. A light amber coloured beer with an inviting vinuous nose. HInts of whiskey as Hughie states. A malty body with more noticeable alcohol. Notes of apple toffee and caramel also. Sweetish and acceptable.Score 3.4downender (8658) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - OCT 19, 2008

Cask-conditioned at the Royal Oak, Bath 5/10/08. Thanks for setting this brewery up, my browser has taken offence to both Beermad and Quaffale....Deep amber in colour with a slight, off-white head. Sweet, fruit and caramel aroma with some balancing earthy hops. Flavour had more of the same, not sure about whisky, but there was plenty of warming alcohol in the finish for a 5% ABV beer. Good effort.
