Cask at Overdraft, Winchester. Malty chocolat aroma, with added soy sauce. Velvet dark but no head. Creamy and sweet up front, with underlying liquorice and coffee. Sugar lumps chucked in for good measure. Shockingly light bodied. Low fat cream texture. Soft carbonation. Long finish. Enjoyable. For the sweet toothed.

UPDATED: OCT 13, 2017 Bought this direct from the brewery and the brewer himself. I love this beer lovely flavours but most important to me is that it is so drinkable not to heavy. I’ll be going back for more of the same.

Keg @ Waterloo Tap, London. Black with a thin head. Has slightly sweetened roasted malts, a stated nose in this respect, and is crisp and very palatable if you are a dark ale fan.

Opaque black beer, thin beige head, nearly just a film.Malty, coffee aroma.A bit of chocolate, coffee, a touch of sweetness. A bit watery in the aftertaste but otherwise this is a decent, smooth stout that’s thoroughly drinkable. If unremarkable.
