Tap. Pours dark body, tan cream top. Aroma has chocolate malt predominant. Taste is medium to full sweet. Palate is creamy, full bodied, soft to average carbonation, and long finish. Overall, a pleasant stout that may be too sweet for some.

UPDATED: OCT 13, 2017 Bought this direct from the brewery and the brewer himself. I love this beer lovely flavours but most important to me is that it is so drinkable not to heavy. I’ll be going back for more of the same.

Keg @ Waterloo Tap, London. Black with a thin head. Has slightly sweetened roasted malts, a stated nose in this respect, and is crisp and very palatable if you are a dark ale fan.

On tap at Nettle & Rye, Bristol 9/5/2017. Near black in colour, with a thin, beige, head. Toasted malt and milk chocolate aroma, with plenty of sweet, dark, fruits and liquorice in the background. Flavour had chocolate fondant and more roasted malts, with a smooth oat note before a gentle finish. Enjoyable.

ianwelby (1615) - SCOTLAND - MAY 13, 2017
Opaque black beer, thin beige head, nearly just a film.Malty, coffee aroma.A bit of chocolate, coffee, a touch of sweetness. A bit watery in the aftertaste but otherwise this is a decent, smooth stout that’s thoroughly drinkable. If unremarkable.
