The yeast strain used for the brewing of the pale, dry American Ales is specially imported from the USA, along with Cascade and Centennial hops, to produce this pale ale. The low colour Maris Otter malt provides a perfect light colour and dryness to complement the crisp taste and full aroma of the hops.

Cask at the Harp. A very English style pale ale with a dark colour in the glass and plenty of rich and bitter hops with balancing malt. This ticked all my boxes and was the standout beer of the evening.

Can from Ales by Mail - Color: cloud pale blond beer with no carbonation and quite creamy white foam. Smell: fruity and hoppy nose, sweet malt presence. Taste: light body with sweet malt backbone balance with fresh and fruity hops. Peach and litchi notes. Good attenuation and very easy drinkable. Aftertaste: sweet hoppy and fresh peach notes. Good.

Cask at Harp in London. Great clear copper color with a one-finger white head. Aroma is nice, caramel/biscuit malt and well-balanced citrus/floral/grass hops. Flavor is nicely balanced, maybe a little more English style but still quite good. Good biscuit/caramel balanced by nice medium bitterness. Medium-bodied with a nice cask feel. Good beer.

Cask at The Evening Star, Brighton. A very decent APA, up there with the long man down the coast. Nice butterscotch flavour.

This is a good quaffing APA from a great Southern Brewer brewer. Loads of flavour though light on the palate.
