3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Cask at Craft Beer Co Brixton. It pours hazy golden, with a medium off-white head. The nose is dough, spice, green banana, citrus pith, orange and tangerine. The taste is banana, bitter grapefruit, spice, astringency, lemon pith, faint chlorine and alcohol warmth, with a bitter, lightly spicy finish. Medium body and low carbonation. Don’t think this clash of styles quite works in this case as the yeast takes over.
Bottle at home. Pours golden, nose is yeasty, citrus, taste is similar, caramel. bax (1311) - Hasselager, Aarhus, DENMARK - OCT 29, 2014

Bottle dated 10.06.14. Ripe fruit aromas. Bright golden appearance with a pillowy and reasonably maintained head. Well balanced medium bitterness and a little sourness to taste. Lasting honey sweetness. Fairly full, chewy texture with moderately high carbonation. Overall a highly drinkable 7.2 % but lacking a little complexity.

Bottle. Bought Feb 2014; BB date June 2014; Drank Feb 2014. Orangey Gold in colour. Clear. Average off-white head. Decent lacing. Very Yeasty. Quite Spicy. Fruity; oranges citrus, some grapefruit, hint of lemon. Hoppy; grassy hops. Malty; sweet malts, some caramel. Slightly syrupy. Reasonable balance between the yeast and the hops. Initially sweetish yeasty fruity hoppy; but becomes increasingly bitter and dry towards the finish. Liked this. Nice English "Belgian-style IPA"! mR_fr0g (12126) - Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - MAR 11, 2014

Flavour is rich honey, nutty malt, piney earthy hop, touch of lemon. Palate is semi cweet crystaline sugar, Medium full body. Medium low carbonation. Assertive earthy citus hop bitterness. Aroma: grassy, floral hops, hints of caramel malt, maybe some yeast. Appearance: dark clear brown, small head, yet initially almost exploded. Taste: medium sweet. Palate: medium carbonation, light bitters coming up, taste of hops, citrus, floral ones. Overall: not bad IPA, yet missing some complexity in both, aroma and palate.
