[Cask at The Evening Star, Brighton] An opaque deep red beer with a fine lasting chocolate brown head. The aroma is sweet roasted, but very light. The flavor is sweet malty and roasty with coffee notes, though less than expected. I think it was served too cold. joergen (28461) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - APR 9, 2009

tk2 yeah coffee coffee coffee.
Cask at the Euston Tap. Opaque, dark brown pour with a light tan head. Bitter espresso and dark malt aroma. Flavor is really dominated by coffee grounds, with light sweetness and roastiness. Light to medium in body. I like the finish a bit more than the flavor. There’s a bit more malty sweetness here and the coffee flavor smooths out a bit. Lightly roasty with justs hints of ashy bitterness. Nice beer. Theydon_Bois (19845) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - OCT 19, 2012
Gravity dispense at the twelfth Twickenham Beer Festival - 18/10/12.
Mid black in appearance with a frothy tan head.
Big roast nose backed up with a great espresso aroma and a little smoke.
Rich roast malt taste with espresso in the background, caramelised sugar.
Medium bodied with a low level of carbonation lending towards a dry and bitter finish.
Excellent cask coffee stout, so much more life than the bottled version! rlgk (18850) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - OCT 5, 2004
