A deep dark stout with a thick collapsing brown head. In aroma very pleasant resinous coffee grind, espresso, musty and complex. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with herbaceous character, light bitter chocolate, a bit thin but still solid after 4 years. Bottle from LCBO.

Bottle. Pours a black colour with a fizzy tan head. Strong aroma of roasted coffee beans, roasted malts, earth, ash and wood. Taste of roasted malts, definite coffee, earth, tobacco, some chocolate and a little caramel. Light bodied and soft carbonation. A dry, roasted coffee finish. If you enjoy coffee, this is definitely the beer for you. Its so drinkable and could be a morning drink. I like it.
