Bottle thanks to Lorna. It pours near black with a small beige head. The nose is rich roast, bitter - sweet, espresso coffee, cacao nibs and burnt treacle. The taste is smooth, bitter, rich roast, coffee, touch of cracked black pepper, touch of acidity and dark chocolate with a dry finish. Light -medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Perhaps a touch thin, but it is a respectable coffee stout nonetheless. Lonick (2537) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - DEC 5, 2015
Bottle @The Pond, Leith. Pours almost black but with a red tinge, tan head. Nose is coffee, nutty slight chocolate but overwhelmingly coffee. Taste is very much the same, my only problem with it is that its just one coffee taste, needs more depth, nice enough. weordie (1408) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - NOV 10, 2015
Pours black with a cappuccino coloured head. Aroma is roasted malts, earth but not much else. Not much coffee going on in this brew, roasted malts and earthy taste like the aroma. A nice thick beer though. CraftBeerNick (2831) - London Town, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 24, 2015

Palate-medium body, creamy, soft carbonation, long finish
Overall-very good, Lubiere (14151) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 7, 2015
A deep dark stout with a thick collapsing brown head. In aroma very pleasant resinous coffee grind, espresso, musty and complex. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with herbaceous character, light bitter chocolate, a bit thin but still solid after 4 years. Bottle from LCBO.
