An extremely clean-drinking pale golden ale with a strong floral aroma and elderflower notes from the Cascade hops. This beer is full-bodied and full-flavoured yet gentle enough to make it a favourite session beer.

Slight/medium aroma of malts, honey, fruit, hops and citrus.

Clear/hazy golden/amber beer with a slight/medium white head.

Starts medium sweet with malts, honey and fruit; ends slightly bitter and dry with hops and citrus.

This beer is rather intense, complex and balanced. Decent beer overall that does nothing wrong, but does nothing great at the same time. The aroma could have been stronger though.

Nice one. Very easy and fresh, with some nice grainy notes. Not as much hops as expected though. Not the best style example Ive had, but a well drinkable one.

Pint at the Hope Carshalton. A: Golden, an initial haze cleared up to leave a clear beer, small head, a decent amount of lacing clung to the side of the glass. S: Strong hints of grapefruit. T: Sharp bitterness combined with hints of lime and grapefruit. M: Smooth, minimal carbonation, slipped down quite well. O: Lots of character and subtleness, outstanding session beer.
