Dark golden colour with soapy head. Slight tartness. Green apples. Strong hop bitterness. No elderflower detected.

Aroma: elderflower, sweet, some light grain. Appearance: slightly hazy, pale gold, small, creamy, white head. Taste: light sweet. Palate: medium body, sweets continue, intense elderflower. Overall: this is not my cup of tea, too much elderflower. Pint at The Willow Walk, Victoria.

Cask by hand-pump at The Raven, Glasgow - clear golden, thin off-white head, pale malty, light citrus aroma, good lacing, creamy malty, some citrus, good carbonation, prolonged malty aftertaste

Cask (Black Door, Helsinki)
Looks great - it might be pale, a straw colour, but that spongy head is beautiful, and persistent too. Nice little noble hop aroma, quite grassy, fairly bitter. Ditto in the taste, lots of herbal hops, but a gentle soft maltiness behind that, just delicately sweet. There’s some elderflower there too, and just a little bit of plastickiness, but in a central-european way that I like. Finish is a little resiny and bitter. Good use of noble hops in a pale ale, has plenty of Czech character.

ManVsBeer (10953) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - AUG 28, 2014
Cask @ Leggers Beer Festival, Dewsbury. Golden with a small head. Lots of hop and malt but there’s a mild fruitiness with the elderflower more prominent in its lingering aftertaste.

Cask at craft clerko. Golden colour with a lasting loose white head. Aroma is nice fresh earthy heather, straw and berry hop. Flavour is earthy, straw, English yeast esters with a hint of cara sweetness. Palate is medium light, moderate carbonation. Firm slightly rough bitterness. Good stuff.

Cask in the Sun Hotel, Lancaster. Golden with a white head. Pretty fruity with citrus and tea. Quite a dry finish. OK.

Light gold, thin head. Aroma is elderflower, tangerine and honey. Heavily floral, slightly sticky, tasty twist on a summer ale.

Scopey (15725) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 27, 2013
Cask at the Claret, Addiscombe. It pours clear golden yellow with a medium white head. The nose is sweet doughy, floral, grass, spice and toast. The taste is crisp, bitter, elderflower, grass, earth, dough and touch of pepper with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Crisp and quaffable. A rather nice session ale.

Pale blonde, lacing white head. Gently floral elderflower aroma, fairly sweet shortcake malt with earthy elderflower, very light bodied, perfect quaffer.
