A balance of speciality malts, including roasted chocolate barley malt, produces the rich malt flavours which are smoothed further with the traditional addition of lactose (milk sugar)
Dark Star, so it’s pretty much awesome by default. Strong chocolate notes with a pleasant creaminess and the sort of strong malt character you’d expect from a stout. Really enjoyable, and I say that as someone who isn’t a massive fan of chocolate beers anyway.
