Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm. Transparently black. Rich roasty coffee aroma. Mid sweet with soft mouthfeel and fairly light body. Coffee with cream with spicy hops atop. Flavourful, soothing and beautifully drinkable. Long bitter finish. A winner! kwik-lime (2012) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 10, 2012
Dark Star, so it’s pretty much awesome by default. Strong chocolate notes with a pleasant creaminess and the sort of strong malt character you’d expect from a stout. Really enjoyable, and I say that as someone who isn’t a massive fan of chocolate beers anyway. dantheman278 (1361) - SCOTLAND - JAN 11, 2012
Cask at Euston Tap. Dark brown black, thin cream head. Nose of soft roast, dark chocolate, coffee. Similar flavours, mellow and creamy. Slight roast finish. Fantastic. Leighton (22027) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 12, 2012
A few pints on tap at CBC, London. Pours dark brown with a fine, off-white head. Chalky, roasted malt nose, some cocoa. Light to medium sweet flavor, dry with chalky baking cocoa, some dark sugar, and moderate roast. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Superbly balanced and in great condition. Lightly dry finish, more cocoa, decent roast, light earth, dark sugar. Very solid beer overall. Highly drinkable. ladnewton (2014) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 13, 2012
Cask at Craft Beer Co on 6th January 2012. Deep ruby with greyish-beige foam and clinging patchy lace. Chocolate and Christmas berries in aroma. Liquid is rich and intensely fruity yet strong chocolate develops which turns milky in the aftertaste. Yorkie(TM) finish! Quite zingy but feel on lips a little oily. Very interesting and enjoyable stout. Rated as a novelty beer.

UPDATED: JAN 29, 2012 Cask conditioned Handpump Cask & Kitchen London. A very dark brown coloured beer with an off-white bubbly head. A good bitter roasty stout. Definite chocolate notes but they don’t present as particularly sweet. There are mocha notes and a touch of fruit. This is really tasty. Score 4.1Aniela (4216) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JAN 17, 2012

Cask at Euston Tap, London. Dark beer with a beige head. Milky coffee aroma ( like a strong latte). Creamy coffee with cocolate falvour. Good dark cask. Scopey (15431) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 17, 2012
Cask at CBC. It pours very dark ruby, with a decent foamy off-white head. The nose is roasted malt, charcoal, smoke and milk chocolate (but not overpowering). The taste is roasted malt, milk chocolate, chocolate milkshake, tar, tangy fruit, smoke and resin, with a dry-roasted finish. Medium body, soft carbonation and good balance. Thankfully not too sweet. Surprisingly enjoyable. rlgk (18852) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JAN 17, 2012
Cask at Euston Tap, London. Black beer with a nice beige head. Milky chocolate aroma, cocoa, creamy notes, licorice and vanilla. Milkt chocolate flavor, licorice, soot, cocoa, salty. Rather on the malty side but still very drinkable. Smooth cream and chocolate finish. EdKing (2640) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 21, 2012
Cask in Craft Beer Co. Colour is opaque very dark brown with a bubbly foamy slightly off white head. Nose is big roasted malt, roasted grain and then a bit of milk chocolate. taste is big time roasted malt, hint of milk chocolate, lactic creaminess and then a hit of black coffee on the finish. What really marks this stout out though, is that is incredibly light bodied for a stout, without being watery or lacking flavours. Very nice, it works.
