Cask at the Staion Hotel, Hither Green. Gold/amber pour with a white head. Nutty, caramel malt aroma with a smidgen of citrus. Fruit burst in the flavour, lots of pear and citrus in there. Bitter-fruit finish. Grumbo (4554) - Ipswich, Suffolk, ENGLAND - JAN 6, 2013
Cask at The Orange Tree, Chelmsford. I have had some excellent Dark Star beers before, but Partridge is a long way from being their best. It was just rather bland and uninspiring.

Draft at the Craft Beer Company, Clerkenwell. Poured a nice reddish brown with a glass hugging white head. The aroma is hugely caramel and very pleasurable. However the flavour was a little sour, watery and not particularly tasty. I would not order another. DanielBrown (4578) - Birmingham (via Leicester), West Midlands, ENGLAND - DEC 5, 2012
Hand pulled at the Victoria, Birmingham. Brown bitter. Resolutely English. Native hops produce dryness, mushy orchard fruit and a smidge of preserve. Somewhat dry, slightly rich. Traditional but well executed. Good Bitter like this is very refreshing. Beersiveknown (5324) - NORTHERN IRELAND - NOV 18, 2012
