[keg at the Bow Bar, Edinburgh] Gold, clear pour, thin head. Bitter, pithy citrus hop on the nose. Grapefruity, pithy lemon on the flavour, but also sweeter tropical fruit. However, leading into the long finish I get lots of grapefruit again. Big, bitter aftertaste. I get the impression that on cask this would be bittersweet, whereas on keg the sharper elements come out. Still a great beer though [29022012]

Cask, handpump at The Evening Star, Brighton,Saturday 5th May 2012 Ive had this before at Peter Fowlers, Shoulder of Mutton, Wantage, Oxon but clearly never got around to rating it, something I tend to do more & more often these days. Pours mid amber with a white head. Sweet initially but with a good hoppy punch. Nice fruity tang but really lovely beer tasting very much as the style suggest, wonderful fresh juicy zingy hops. Great beer. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8

Cask. Frothy white head on a slightly hazy golden body. Biscuity, doughy, hops are a little earthy and soapy...very lively though. Nice bitterness, clean bright citrus and slight soapy hops. Medium to lighter slick body.

Cask @ Gallows Bird, Espoo

Pours clear golden orange with a bubbly head. Aroma of citrusy hops, lemon, malts, caramel and exotic fruits. Taste is hoppy with some exotic fruits, lemon, citrus and caramel malts. Finish is slightly sweet and hoppy with some fruits and lemony notes. Tasty, refreshing real ale.

Handpull at Southampton Arms. Mostly clear gold, solid lasting off-white creamy head. Floral and heather-sweet grain aroma, hint of smoke. Taste follows - acidic goldings? Average body, astringent, okay carb, clean and crisp finish. Lovely pint, really.

On cask @ Craft Beer Co. London. A light blurry one, packed with tiny particles and a small bubbly off-white head. The aroma is not extreme, but there is definitely some american hops going on here. Peaches and citrus with some malts in the background. Nice. Its near flat on the carbonation and it has a light slick to sticky texture. Good hoppy bitterness here, and its quite malty-sweet. Citrus, bitter zesty grapefruits, tomatoes and some leather. A really solid one! 21.07.2012

Aroma: Light aroma of biscuit, lemon and straw.

Appearance: Hazy golden body with a frothy white head. Flat carbonation. Nice lacing.

Taste: Sharp lemony taste with hints of peach. I could tell there was Citra in this before reading the description. Nice bitterness.

Palate: Medium body with a very oily texture. No carbonation.

Overall: Bright and hoppy. This tastes really fresh, Delicious.

Tap at Craft Beer Co Islington. Pours amber with a small, dense white head. nose shows the bitterness about to come. Some bright tropical fruits work in its favour. Taste is heavy tropical fruits, slightly sweet with some lengthy, favouring bitterness. Works very well together and balances nicely considering its bitterness. Great stuff

13/07/2013 Open Baladin (handpump). Dorata, limpidissima, schiuma bianca leggera, molto persistente. Al naso sentori di malto, note biscottate, agrumate, leggero fruttato ed erbaceo. In bocca equilibrata, malto e luppolo si sposano abbastanza bene, lamaro intenso e abbastanza persistente. Corpo leggero, carbonazione soft. Dark Star sempre una garanzia!
