3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
(Cask at Gallow’s Bird, 20121103) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was white, small and long lasting. Aroma had fruitiness, grass and malts. Palate was medium bodied with low carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, pine, malts and bitterness. Afteraste was hoppy and bitter. A surprisingly hoppy cask ale but also a good and well balanced one.
On tap at Draft House Chancery, London. Pours cloudy golden with medium white head. Some light hoppiness, citrus, fruit, peach, sweetish, bitterness in finish. Fine carbonation. Medium bodied. pkbites (1006) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 23, 2017
Orange/copper pour. Floral hops and malty bread crust on the nose. Malt engulfs the mouth while strong hops push through like a snow plow. Bold and flavorful. Can @ Legendz, Grand Cayman Island. nocheinbier (70) - London, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - AUG 24, 2017
UPDATED: AUG 24, 2017 A pint in the admiral in Kentish town. Clear copper colour with white lacy thin head. Hoppy fruity aroma and then satisfying sweet bittet taste with biscuity grapefruit and hops notes. Perfectly poured and tasting ale. JoshRaburn (721) - - AUG 16, 2017

Old transferred rating. Quite nice pale ale, but it lacked some hoppiness for me. gowdy (1116) - Erskine, SCOTLAND - JUN 9, 2017
Pint at The King Tuns (JDW) in Kingston upon Thames. Medium golden colour with a little head. aussiealchemist (65) - Berwick Victoria, AUSTRALIA - APR 17, 2017
UPDATED: APR 18, 2017 Cask at Malling Jug, West Malting, Kent UK. Serving temperature was moderately cool. Pours clear golden brown. Minimal head, low carbonation. Light citrus fruit aroma. Powerful hop taste with lingering bitterness. Subtle caramel malt which doesn’t quite balance the hops. Very nice for English IPA. thejackpacker (728) - East Sussex, ENGLAND - MAR 22, 2017
UPDATED: OCT 7, 2017 Cask at The Evening Star, Brighton. A huge huge hoppy hit in this cask beer. An real smack in the face on first drink. Sticks to the mouth a bit and feels the alcohol, but a real treat.
Re-rated. Eastbourne Beer Festival. First few sips are just pure delight. What a gorgeous hoppy beer. So thick ans smooth. Not sure if it's truly quaffable though. Davros IX (577) - Hertford, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - FEB 24, 2017
Holborn Whippet. A nice English IPA, bitter hops, but with more than a hint of fruit lurking in the background. There was a taste of citrus peel coming through that was verging on the marmalade. This was very good.
