Yeasty and grainy with some corny sweet aroma. Taste is adjuncty and yeasty. The yeast is nice and there is some bitterness, but I feel that this is more lager than ale.

Cask at Cask. Pours clear red with a hearty just off white head. Nose is pine, resin, malt. Taste is creamy, fruit, malt, English. Fine but not really a fan ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Hazy orange golden color with a fine thick white head. Ok lacing. Looks good! Ok aroma with a fine intensity. Medium body and a fine carbonation. Good balance between sweetness and bitterness. Semi dry ending. Ok lasting flavor! Grapefruit hoppy, resin, caramel and mild fruity.

On tap at the Waterloo Tap, Waterloo. Amber with a trace of white head that laces the glass nicely; fresh leafy hop aroma; soft in the mouth with some resinous hops and a mix of pine and citrus; then a leafy bitterness, and a long drying finish.

From a can , pours with a thick light tan head, and a clear golden orange. Nice hop aroma, with quite a sweet malt background . Some super fruity, citrus flavours. Very good

On cask at the Evening Star. Smooth floral beginning. Intense earthy concentrated aroma. Dark earthy fruit together with a great round sweetish malty body. Round and intense, moderate bitter, round and great!

2/23/2009 8:09:25 AM At Wenlock. Amber beauty. Hoppy nose, with lots of grapefruit. Solid IPA taste of hops, powerful citrus, grapefruit and orange. Another excellent Dark Star beer.

On cask @ Cambridge Blue. Small sample. The aroma has soft caramel tones, bit citrus, light resin. Clear amber coloured with a very thin head. The taste is soft bitter, bit sweet caramelish and has citric fruitiness. Nice, easy drinker.
