Hunters, Pori. Hazy golden colour with huge foamy/creamy head. Ginger in aroma along with sweet caramelly and flowery hops. Ginger, spices and flowery hops dominate the flavour, which also has some slight toffeeish notes. Quite a nice cask, full with flavour. Very spiced aftertaste.
cask at cloisters ... golden yellow ... thin white head ... light soft spice fruit hop nose ... big juicy hop ... nice ginger and other spice ... good mouthfeel ... nice omhper (25753) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - JUL 24, 2006
[Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm] Clear golden. Interestic gingery lemon aroma. Light-medium bodied with fairly soft mouthfeel. Evident citric lemon aroma with the ginger taking over towards the finish. By the finish it is burning with ginger, but I’d still count it as a refreshing and fairly balanced spiced ale. madmitch76 (25568) - , Essex, ENGLAND - NOV 15, 2009

Dry ginger - not subtle! Possibly some chilli? Bitter grapefruit. Tasty but not easy drinking. Original rating 2.4.

Light haze on this gold beer. Nice hoppy profile. Grassy grapefruit and apple-orange. Spicy dry finish with some ginger heat. Decent.
Cask at the Cock Tavern - Hackney, London. Pours clear gold with a soft, creamy white cap. Certainly some spices in here, and the ginger provides a gentle sting. Sweetness provided by light, biscuity pale malts. Also pleasant notes of lemony citrus and dry straw. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Good condition. Lightly dry to finish with mild spice, straw and more biscuits. Tasty golden ale. chriso (21656) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 27, 2010
Cask (gravity dispense) at Woodies Beer Festival, New Malden on 21 August 2010. Surprising to find I hadn’t rated this one before. Clear, bright pale gold colour. Loose, but lasting, off-white head. Excellent condition. Fresh herbal and discreetly spicy aroma. Also clean and fresh on the palate. Lots of citrus coupled with a soft bitterness. Quite floral. A very refreshing and easy drinking summer beer.

Light blond color, hazy. It has a very nice hop aroma; grassy too. Mellow maltish flavor, with quite strong bitterness and some hop quality; unfortunately both the aroma and the flavor are spoiled by a ginger presence.
Cask at the Guide Dog - St Denys (So’ton) - 09/09/12.
Clear pale golden in appearance with a thin off-white head.
Pale malt aroma, faint hops, nutmeg and spice.
Tastes of malt, grain, hops, fruit, citrus tones, a little grapefruit and nutmeg.
Medium bodied with moderate carbonation leading to a dry finish, harrisoni (19348) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - JUL 14, 2008
Cask handpull at Green Berry, Deal. Pale gold, thin white head. Initial hit is ginger and elderflower. I mean it is gingery. No doubt, bit too much on the spice. Also a bit soapy. OK. Some lemon
