September 16, 2017 - at Craft (Clerkenwell) - handpull cask. Clear gold with decent smallish rocky off-white head. Floral golden ale aroma with some tree fruit - simple. Taste follows, has a tangy tartness and more floral pungency - airy, dry, medium finish - good shape, solid beer.

Cask at The Roebuck, Leek. A clear golden colour with a medium white head. Aroma of lemon, honey, some orange, subtle pale malts and slight floral hops. Taste of lemon, honey, some orange, slight grass, a little caramel, boiled sweets and subtle floral hops. Medium bodied, oily texture and soft carbonation. A soft, citrusy hop bitterness in the finish. A good, zesty and fruity golden ale. So sessionable and flavourful like most dark star beers.

The_Osprey (9809) - Richmond, Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 24, 2016
Cask handpull at The Webb Ellis Twickenham as ’Dark Star Sunburst’, 4.8%. Golden dark yellow, still and clear, small foamy white head. Aroma is sugary biscuit, honey, Danish pastry. Body is smooth with soft carbonation. Taste is lightly woody, a little floral, soft malts in great balance with the woody liquorice stick hops, breathy musty bitterness. Not particularly complex but it’s an assertive flavour and I like what’s there a lot. I’d happily drink this all night.

Psytron (2620) - Turku, FINLAND - AUG 27, 2016
