Bottle, Morrisons, 15/01/2016 Spring elderflower taste. Well carbonated. Excellent condition. Some slight grassy notes. White grape. Low acid. Clean. Easy-drinking. Great spring ale. I really don’t think this can be bettered for the style. It can go bad easily if kept hot hence why ratings are low and I really don’t understand the low ratings as this is exactly what you want for a spring/golden ale. Great hop combination. Super soft malts. Super clean. CO2 in the tank. Excellent.

Bottle thanks to Lorna. It pours clear golden - light orange with a medium white head. The nose is fresh, bready malts, biscuit, toasted grain and a touch of citrus. The taste is crisp, clean, bitter, grassy, toasted grain, straw, white bread, orange oil and a touch of peppery spice with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Crisp, clean and has a nice level of bitterness. Decent golden ale.

500ml bottle from ales by mail. Clear, pale-golden pour with a small frothy white head. Slight caramel and fruity aromas. Definite grapefruit flavour with some hoppy dryness and subtle sweetness. Nice.

Pours almost clear golden color, topped with a nice white frothy head. Mild fruity aroma, some flowery notes and a hint of elderflower. Taste is slightly sweet with some grassy hops to it, very mild bitterness in the finish and a bit watery. Drinkable, not bad.

Golden ale di stampo inglese. Colore oro con scarsa schiuma bianca. Al naso fruttata e floreale. In bocca corpo medio. Bilanciata bene. Sapore troppo fruttato a mio parere. Lungo finale nel palato.

500ml bottle. Clear, orangey, deep golden colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Floral hoppy aroma, slightly perfumed, herbal, a fruity touch of gooseberry, biscuity malty basis. Taste is slightly sweet, biscuity malty, mildly bitter hoppy overtones, minimally herbal, floral and mineral, a touch of lemon and gooseberry. Nice.
