Bottle. Large white head. Fizzy gold body. Nose is grapefruit, citrus and dough. Tropical fruit. Some caramel. Some stewed hops. Spice. Tannic. Tangy with some bitterness. Dry finish.

BlackHaddock (7346) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - APR 29, 2014
500ml brown bottle: BBD end of Oct 2014. Poured into an Abbot Ale glass tankard at home after some gardening on 29th April 2014. Light amber too dull gold in colour, the head a thin white covering and thicker collar. Just what I needed after a little hard labour. Refreshing and thirst quenching with a citrus bite in both the aroma and taste. Not the sort of beer I normally like or buy (it was part of a present) but it did the job nicely today.

Erzengel (8744) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - MAR 19, 2014
Dunkelgolden, leicht mild-weich, schön fruchtig & Ale-aromatisch. Nicht zu tief, aber süffig - frisch! Lecker!

johndoughty (5449) - cheslyn hay, West Midlands, ENGLAND - FEB 14, 2014
Bottle. Golden and clear with low carbonation and a small head. Pleasant but not a lot of flavour which makes it quite disappointing.

Average ale. Flavours of citrus, hay and some sweet. Not very special but overall very drinkable.

500ml bottle. pours a clear amber with head that lasts. aroma is of dough, straw and hops. lots of hops. nice smooth, full mouth feel. perhaps a little watery and over carbonated for me but over all, a good refreshing ale.

gruberm (329) - - SEP 11, 2013
A nice taste golden ale but not spectacular. More fizz than i care for me. The color is actually quite a lager straw colored instead of a deeper golden color. Smells of buttered popcorn though so that's pretty awesome. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

jamestulloch (4113) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - SEP 5, 2013
Bottle from Vino Wines. Clear golden body with a thin white head that fades. Light carbonation. Nice lacing. Clean aroma of straw and citrus. Flavour is simple and refreshing - lime and grapefruit with a slightly spice in the finish. Thin body with an oily mouthfeel. Soft carbonation prickle. A lovely Golden Ale - light and refreshing.
