Cask (handpump) @ The Rake, 14 Winchester Walk, London, Greater London England SE1 9AG.
Clear medium amber orange colour with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate hoppy, passion fruit, allspice. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat.
Cask. Ambery brown colour with small head. Aroma is herbal, nutty and a bit wooden. Flavour is wood, hebs nad some nuttyness as well as some sap. Big dry bitterness in the finish. cgarvieuk (24499) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JAN 2, 2009

Gravity cask at the Bree Louise. Pours a clear, rich gold with a strong, white head. Aroma is wonderful, at first quite hoppy with strong pine and then spicy with thyme and rosemary. Flavor is lightly sweet with some faint honey and white sugar, and quite bitter with sticky pine and resin. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes spicy and sticky in the throat, balanced with some slightly bready malts. Great beer. I don’t always enjoy spiced beer but this one is a winner. fiulijn (20515) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 2, 2009

Amber color. Rich malt and caramel aroma, light biscuits too. Quite good strength, but it tends to be thinner at the end; strong caramel flavor, sweetish in the beginning and drier later. Bold final bitterness. Solid but average Bitter.
Cask at The Harp, London. Deep golden beer with an ok offwhite head. Malty, spicy flavor, coriander, ginger, biscuits, some fruity notes. Coriander and ginger flavor, malty, bready, fruity notes. A bit too much spices for me. harrisoni (18578) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - JAN 22, 2007
Cask handpull at Red Lion, Histon. Copper colour with thin off white head. Ginger/aniseed spicey flavour. Ginger nut biscuity aroma. Fairly solid in mouth and then spicey/earthy finish. Very good. Nice spicey winter beer. FatPhil (16102) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JAN 10, 2008
Cask (Pullman, Helsinki)
Orangy brown, large frothy head. Good but subtle brown beery aroma. Brown nutty gingery taste, a bit sweet. Long bitter finish - nutty and a bit resiny. A bit watery, but that isn’t so bad as it makes it more thirst quenching. Scopey (14730) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 1, 2013
Cask at The Claret. It pours clear amber with a medium beige head. The nose is winter spice, earth, caramel, orange peel and dried berry. The taste is earth, wood, winter spice, pumpkin, squash, raisin, light caramel and resin with a dry, lightly spiced finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. I really like the balance. imdownthepub (14555) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - NOV 19, 2016
Cask conditioned at Banbury Beer Festival ’16. Amber with white head. There is a fuller body to this, fruity, peachy and plummy notes, good depth of flavour, the spicing isn’t overly done so fits in quite well. Caramel notes on the close. Reasonable.
