Bottle from local area golden amber ale not really an ipa more a bitter some citrus carmel and some hops bitter finish very average beer dj (639) - Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 16, 2014
Bottle, 500ml. A clear pale straw colour with no head. Aroma of fresh grassy hops, a little citrus. Flavour is a little hoppy with citrus, a little malt and caramel. Watery on the palate. Moderate carbonation. Slight bitterness in the finish. Not an IPA and not interesting as a bitter. maneliquor (3514) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - OCT 29, 2013
One thing which is really annoying me about London is the fact there are so many beers labeled as ’IPA’ which are in fact Bitter’s. This is one of them. Very caramelised nose and malt driven. Slightly nutty with hints of lemon zest. Taste is quite biscuity with loads of lemon and lime, light pepper, lemon rind. Clean and balanced is a plus. Just doesn’t do it for me considering what I was expecting maeib (8749) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - AUG 22, 2013
Bottled 12/08/13. An orange gold coloured beer with pretty much no head. Definite Goldings fruity character with a bit of sticky malt. Pretty tasty and well brewed although the nose does have a fusty character. tampierre (1431) - Pilsen, CZECH REPUBLIC - APR 21, 2013

Gentle malty nose with not much hops to speak of. Pours slightly muddy gold with a bit of a dishwatery vibe. The taste is ok - pleasant bitterness and a nice hoppy finish but sadly the whole is slightly undermined by a wateryness and a thinness in the mouthfeel. In summary it’s a fine example of a session bitter, but as they’ve badged it as an IPA I’ll assess it on those terms and it falls short. martinrumsam (572) - BARNSTAPLE, Devon, ENGLAND - OCT 6, 2012
Cask. Golden yellow. Dense white head that stays and laces. Aroma is light. Grassy and hint of citrus
Taste is slightly sweet floral start with hop bitterness at the end. Pleasant enough but it is a bitter - no way an IPA fonefan (52378) - VestJylland, DENMARK - SEP 18, 2012
