Bottled, acquired from Tesco. Golden ale with plenty of bold hops. Generous aroma with strong bitterness. More in the style of an American Pale Ale. Very nice. scotty (1210) - SCOTLAND - JAN 17, 2006
Initially this looks great, but the head fizzles away in about 1 min. Nose is amazing! so fresh and hoppy, with a slightly honeyed edge. On the palate it is smooth and rounded, malt is the dominant flavour but balancing bitter acids linger well on the finish. This is a well balanced beer, shame the head died so fast ( glass is clean and as far as I know, free of detergent!) Another quality beer from Darwin. From Tesco. rauchbier (3902) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - FEB 14, 2007
Bottle, from Tesco. Gold, thin but lasting white head and moderate condition. Initial piney hop and gapefruity citrus notes in the nose but becoming sweet and honeyed, solid spicy earthiness in the mouth with a gentle citrus hoppiness and a balancing sweetness. Earthy bitter finish with some remaining honey sweetness.
Mungo (2470) - Southampton, Hampshire, ENGLAND - SEP 2, 2005
Bottle from Tesco. Good hoppy nose - grapefruit and pine. Spicy yeast. A splash of malt and moderate bitterness. Carbonation not overdone. StueyD (1584) - Heacham, Norfolk, ENGLAND - MAY 9, 2006
A mid amber orange coloured beer with a frothy, but weak white head. The nose is distinctly floral, hops with a touch of grapefruit and orange citrus fruit notes. A bitter flavour of floral hop, the citrus fruit element is present again, along side a smooth maltiness that balances the taste. The finish is dry and bitter. (Bottle, pasteurised - Tesco).

Cask Handpump at the Helter Skelter, Frodsham 07/05/2005
Golden coloured with some alcohol. Some sour fruit and bitterness in a malt finish. ABV 5.3% Sigmund (7656) - Tau, NORWAY - FEB 27, 2005
Cask conditioned at the Lambton Worm (JDW), Sunderland. Golden colour, no head, little lacing. Moderate citrussy aroma. Light bodied. Pineapple and grapefruit in the flavour. Quite nice, but unfortunately a bit too sweet to be a definite favourite of mine. johninmelb (1127) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - DEC 11, 2005
nice gold colour but very weak head. Strong, floral, hoppy nose. Very, very sharp, dry and bitter at the start - there is hardly any malt sweetness mellowing this at all. It mellows a bit as it goes along, but remains a dry and hoppy experience with a palate-cleansing lingering finish. DonMagi (5593) - bantervile, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - DEC 22, 2005
Another decent beer for xmas from tesco, i suppose all that asking must have been listened too after all. Aroma of citrus hops which goes floural at times. Taste is also reasonably hopy but quite well balanced also. Bitter finish which does get a bit annoying after a while. fiulijn (20806) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 30, 2006
Golden color. Nice aroma, with hop and honey. Dry mouthfell, some malt, toffee, strong bitterness, quite good hopping.
