Poured up at GABF 2012 with a clear copper body that supports a thin off white head. The aroma is a little spicy and estery where there’s also some cinnamon and pumpkin pie like notes. Interesting aroma for sure. The taste is similar where I get some apple and apricot like fruity esters to go along with some cinnamon and a sense of nutmeg and pumpkin meat. Pretty darn tasty for a beer under 4%.

This is a really neat beer, a bit of creaminess from the corn, nice beer overall. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft sampler at the brewpub. Medium to dark amber/brown hue, appealing sweet/spicy nose, thin body, light to medium sweet spicy flavor that’s a bit like apple cider with another fruit substituted for apples. Different, interesting brew.

Tap @ brewpub. Hazy orange colour, white head. Nose is coriander, speculaas spices, cardamom, light hoppy and fruity. Flavour is light malty fruity, spicy, caradamom, cloves, cinnamon. Very light hopped. Finish is short and slightly watery.

Tap at restaurant. Clear light ruby purple with white head. I was blown away with the smell. Not at all I was expecting. Notes of cinnamon clove nutmeg vanilla. Reminds me of a chai tea. Light but not thin refreshing. I could drink this a lot. Great desert drink.

Tap sample. Poured clear ruby color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate toasted grain, fruit and spice aroma. Medium to abundant body and a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy complex spice sweet flavor with a medium to heavy sweet finish of moderate to moderate to long duration. My expectations where surpassed with a drinkable complex beer.
