czar (9430) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - FEB 13, 2011
pours clear golden with a decent white head. pale malts, cereals, some fruitiness, slightly hoppy - so not like a pilsner. just a knockoff from the big breweries - trying to get to the beer geeks to buy their stuff at the cornerstore (for those who can buy beer at that sort of place) instead of the other big brands. they’re both the same.

(Rating #3911)

Can 473 ml
Aroma: mild , sweet sided sugary aroma with light mineral , aroma. Fairly decent.
Appearance: clear golden appearance with above average white foamy top. Good lace.
Flavour and Palate: Medium light bodied. Cereal , soapy character with noticeable hop presence. Slight hint of fusel alcohol on top. Proper ingredients yet as you drink its construction falls apart. Landing with unpleasant emptiness at end.

SlovakSniper (5561) - Candiac, Quebec, CANADA - FEB 8, 2013

From a 473 can. Golden clear in colour, with a thin white head on top. Very grainy, with little or no hops on the nose. Medium bodied beer, some maltiness, no hops. This is a commercial brew, made to attract the craft beer consumer. Not better not worse than any Molson-Labatt beer. 2/10

Eructoblaster (4371) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 16, 2014
Can - 473ml. Boring blond body with heavy carbonation and a thin, fading, white bubbly head. Fair, light hoppy aroma with malty and grassy hints. Its bland, watery taste carries malty, hoppy, and corny notes. Ends with a bad metallic finish. Useless.

GRM (4177) - Aylmer, Quebec, CANADA - APR 13, 2011
Can, 473 ml, achetée chez Broue Ha Ha, savoured on April 13 2011; eye: golden, extra clear, no effervescence, tiny ring of off-white head, slight lacing; nose: malt, caramel, light corn; mouth: malt, light hops, caramel, really short finale in caramel, light body, rather carbonated, quite sweet, slick texture; overall: quite ordinary FRANÇAIS Canette, 473 ml, achetée chez Broue Ha Ha, savourée le 13 avril 2011; œil : dorée, extra claire, pas d’effervescence, petit anneau de mousse blanc cassé, très légère dentelle; nez : malt, caramel, léger maïs; bouche : malt, léger houblon, caramel, finale très courte en caramel, corps léger, plutôt carbonatée, pas mal sucrée, texture coulante; en résumé : b’en ordinaire

Pours a pale yellow with a thin layer of white foam that doesn’t stick but leave good lacing. Aroma of some weird malt and corn. Taste is sweet-ish with some corny notes and some grass. Lightly bitter. Mouthfeel is not completely watery but it isn’t completely right either. Refreshing of course but my time is better spent elsewhere.

Metalchopz (3535) - Cantley, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 22, 2010
Found in Wakefield, QC at the Axep grocery shop and comes in a 4-pack of cans. Pours a typical golden clean colour for a pils, with a white head. Average retention and good dirty lacing. Light grainy aromas of wet hay. Medium-bodied wet mouthfeel, almost flat. Grain tasting, just like the nose, but a tad stronger. After a while, alcohol really comes out in the smell and other adjunct products. Just a plain pilsner brewed in Rochester N.Y. and imported to Laval, QC to have the word "imported" printed on the can and with the German-style art to attract the upper beer drinkers.

Minderbinder (3469) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - FEB 21, 2013
Bottle 473ml. Clear blond, low white head. Corn, malt, water. Not too bad, but you know the drill. Somewhat refreshing, but not the beer you seek to buy again.
