Poured into a mug, the appearance had an amber color with a thin white foamy head that dissipated immediately. Concave sliding lace.
The aroma had some toast, nuts, caramel and toffee.
The flavor leaned towards the sweet side flowing over some grassy hops trying to provide some bittering but ultimately failing, I’m okay with that. Rich toasty to nutty sweet aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Mild carbonation. ABV felt fine.
Overall, good Irish red ale worthy of more pours.

Poured an amber red color with aromas of caramel, malt and some light grain. Flavors are caramel and malt with some light grass and burntness. Decent overall for a red ale. Jow (4032) - Orlando, Florida, USA - DEC 23, 2013
Tap Dinosaur BBQ Troy. Pours reddish amber with light toffee nose. Tastes lightly sweet. Of caramel, malt, medicinal, earth, and and some piney hops. UDBeernut (2883) - Saint Johns, Florida, USA - MAY 20, 2013
Another tick courtesy of that hotel bar. Thank god the keg of Saratoga IPA finally kicked, It had to be like half a year on. So I am sure this wil be on 9 months from now when by doucher boss schedules last minute 3 hr meetings. Nevermind it takes me 8-9 hr round trip windshield time. I wonder if my boss once worked for amtrak or someother government subsidied RR not named Conrail. Great productivity/ cost ratio. Fuck stick. Pours amber with copper edges. The off white head disipates like the bald skull of me boss. Nose of toast and caramel. Taste is slightly sweet but otherwise uninteresting. Body is medium. Draft. Pours light copper with an off white head. Light sweet toffee malty aroma with some toasty malts. The flavor has toffee, toast, just a tiny hint of diacetyl, and low bitterness. Not bad. jmulv (336) - New York, New York, USA - MAR 11, 2012
Very solid Irish Red. Pours a nice reddish brown. Taste is very well balanced with just enough bitterness. Bought a growler of it after getting it in the sampler Boliv (1150) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 28, 2011
On tap at the Charlton Tavern. Pours clear red and orange with a 1-finger beige head. Aromas of fruity and doughy malt. Berry and caramel malt flavor, with some grass present. Pretty boring.
