Can, as pictured. Big & black with a large tan head. No real hint of coffee in the nose. Some co2. Decent stouty taste bordering on imperial stout. Large & in charge. No coffee yet. I'd say there's more dark chocolate in there than coffee, but yes, bitter burnt. Head stays and goes craggy. Strong impressions. arn8897 (458) - Trenton, Ohio, USA - JAN 21, 2017
Pours a deep brown to black with a khaki head. Aromas of coffee and chocolate and more coffee. Taste the same with a little sweetness from the malt and chocolate. A little molasses also. Some bitter bight at the finish just to keep it clean. Very complex ale. Very under rated. Little to no lacing in the glass. Light to medium mouth feel. Sampled from a 12 oz can this beer poured a very dark brown color with a huge foamy brown head that lingered and left decent lacing. The aroma was faint coffee and vanilla cream. The flavor was bitter and rough with brewed coffee and roasty malts. Medium length finish. Medium body. Ok. unclefrito62 (412) - Stow, Ohio, USA - NOV 20, 2016
12 Ounce can. Smells a little bitter. Some coffee aroma and dark chocolate. Taste is yum!! Taste like chocolate and coffee. Very smooth on the palate with no after bite. Low carbonation. Really who needs Starbuck or bacon and eggs. Really nice beer! Yummy! kaser (6471) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - NOV 11, 2016
Coffee espresso and lighter than expected. Had this poured from draft at FOBAB 2016 at UIC.

UPDATED: AUG 6, 2017 Can from VE. Nose strongly of coffee, a little espresso seeping through, scorch and sweet with medium red berry and chocolate. Pour light brown accumulating to pitch, head large and soft, foamy tan. Taste strongly sweet, almost entirely coffee save for fruit and some mild malt, there’s a little fuzz on my teeth and subtle acidity creeping in. Classic light body but foamier and softer than that implies, with coffee and stout breezing their way in. Part of me thinks this should be graded like a Radler, but that part also likes Radler. Another can from VE. Review holds, they need to dry this out. Enjoyed it, though. [2017.08.06: 3.2]
12 ounce can from phaleslu. Thanks dude. The can managed to leak about a third of the beer and when i popped the tab, it let out a bigger than normal hiss and i could feel the air hit my hand. I think the beer may not have been ready to can, or over primed. The beer is a dark brown with a big head of khaki foam. Decent retention. Herbal, piny bitterness. Ashy, dark chocolate bitterness. Very dry taste. I get some coffee and ash mostly. Medium body and high carbonation. Not really my type of stout. rondphoto (4552) - Lakeside Park, Kentucky, USA - AUG 19, 2016
can @ Belmont Party Supply / Dayton OH --- Aroma of dark malt. Opaque black color, deep tan over-the-top head that finally settles to one-finger, strips of lace. Taste is roasted malt that includes chocolate and black coffee, but it loses its way after a lightly carbonated swallow, turning chalky and drying the mouth in an unappealing way. Not a keeper for me. JaBier (8445) - Capital City, Ohio, USA - JUL 17, 2016
On tap at Knotty Pine on 7/8/16. Darkest brown pour with a thick beige head. Aroma of earthy malts and coffee. Malty flavor with maple syrup and coffee accents before a strange, vegetal finish. shrubber85 (11766) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - JUL 14, 2016
Can. Coffee, chocolate malt, and fresh hay aroma. Very dark brown with giant tan head. Moderately sweet chocolate malt and moderately bitter coffee and herbal grass flavor. Nice body. Pretty good.
