ALIBALI (2482) - Kiel, GERMANY - AUG 8, 2017
Ein sehr malzig süßes Tröpfchen, welches zusätzlich mit vielen Feinheiten glänzt. Honig, leckeren Beeren und auch Hopfen nehmen dich mit auf eine kräftig BOOZEige Entdeckungsreise. Dubbel?? Barley Wine??? Hat von beiden etwas. Fassware im GUTENBERG Kiel. 0,3/3.

Clear, dark amber with a tall, fine head. Nice aroma of chocolate, vanilla and some grassy hop notes. Well-balanced taste. Good finish.

Zlotta (3812) - Hagen / Düsseldorf, GERMANY - JAN 4, 2016
On tap at ’Bergmann Kiosk’. Clear, dark reddish amber with a thin, creamy, slowly diminishing, tan to brown head. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty aroma of coffee, dark chocolate, licorice and hints of molasses. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty taste of dark chocolate, some coffee, cinnamon, molasses and licorice, followed by a medium long, roasty-bitter, chocolaty finish. Medium to full body, creamy to sticky mouthfeel, flat. Very nice!

Tap (Bergmann Kiosk, Dortmund)
Rich malty aroma, burnt, soyish, heavy, sweet, but very pleasant. Super rich malty palate. Sweetish but not sticky. Massive, but still light. Some green banana srings in the finish, but a lovely soyey malty roast. Wonderful dunkelbock.

ogivlado (8097) - Zagreb, CROATIA - APR 16, 2015
swing top bottle 750ml. -from Bergmann Kiosk Dortmund. Darker amber coloured with red glare, medium sized creamy beige head, caramel and mild banana in the nose. Sweet malty, fruity, light spicy and dried fruits with mild alcohol presence in rather fruity finish. A bit too sweet and fruity but overall pleasant brew.

Idiosynkrasie (7963) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - DEC 18, 2014
750ml bottle. Barely clear, dark copper colour with average to huge, thick, firm, frothy to creamy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, sulphureous head. Unusual doughy yeasty, sweet-ish bready malty aroma, hints of pretzel, lye, loaf, raisin, a dusty touch. Taste is sweet malty, doughy, raisin, pretzel, loaf, currant loaf, a fruity dry layer of dusty dried fruit, a touch of alcohol; sticky palate. Too sweet, not really tasty, but definitely exceptional and autochthonous.

Sampled @ Finest Spirits and Beer Convention Bochum 2014: Dunkeloranges Bier mit wenig Schaum.

Bottle from Rudat, Dortmund; bb 12.06.2014
Dark mahogany color, clean, with creamy head. Some aroma of malt and dark caramel; hints of herbs and fruits. Smooth mouthfeel, sweetish caramel flavor, with an impression of oxidization; low bitterness; a bit of candies and pumpkin.
Forgettable. A bit cloying.
