on tap @ Dayton Beer / Kettering OH --- Opaque black with a thin rim head, lots of lace dots. Thin watery malt aroma. Taste is toasted malt that grows smoothly into the palate, adding mild chocolate, then turning bitter through a lingering finish. A decent stout, but lacks the milk needed for the style. Another Dayton brew that is close, but needs work before it is a winner. snoworsummer (5959) - baltimore, Maryland, USA - AUG 22, 2014

Taster on tap at the brewery. Very dark brown red color. Good thin bit of khaki head. Leaves good lace. Smooth, soft, kind of creamy carbonation. Lightly slick finish. Good milk chocolate, more cocoa nibs than anything. Light roast. Moderate bitter taste, moderate sweet. Solid milk stout. Not bad. A bit sweet for me to want to do a whole pint though. A lot of lactose in the finish. On par for the style phaleslu (10553) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JAN 26, 2014
Draft in a sampler at the brewpub. Pours a deep brown with a small beige head that leaves a thin sheet of lace in the glass. Aroma of lactose, chocolate, roast, tobacco, fudge, and nuts. The flavor is mostly the same but has some cola sweetness. Light-medium bodied, with moderate to medium carbonation and a roasty, sweet mouthfeel. Good sweet stout. Tap sample. Poured a black color with an average fizzy tan head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy dark chocolate malt aroma. Medium to heavy dark chocolate flavor with a medium to heavy dark chocolate finish of moderate to long duration. Medium to full body with a dry smooth texture and flat carbonation. This is a good rich beer. jsquire (4564) - St. Marys, Ohio, USA - APR 24, 2013
Dark beer with a thin beige head. Nose of roasted grains and molasses. This is a sweet beer with lots of brown sugar and molasses and lactose. Some roasted grains, toast, and something green and ashy in the finish. Sweet, tastey stout. b3shine (9073) - Indiana, USA - MAR 14, 2013
