Tap at P St Whole Foods. Pours full haze deep maroon. Medium creamy beige head. Nose is pumpkin spice, lemon, nutmeg, sharp tea flavors, green olives. Taste is soapy, bitter, minerally, some freezer vegetables, candy corn. Palate is soapy, tangy. A bit odd. craftycarl21 (2338) - Seattle, Washington, USA - NOV 15, 2011
Draft at Churchkey; both versions were available. Extremely dark brown pour with a small tan head. Nose and flavor hold decent creamy lactic sweetness and roasted malt, but also an astringent acidic ethanol presence and not much pumpkin. Bummer. oteyj (2139) - New Hampshire, USA - NOV 13, 2011
Dark brown pour with a thin tan head. Nail polish remover and huge bandaid right off the bat, finishing chemical and roasty with hints of caramel and chocolate sweetness. Medium body with low carbonation. Not good.
