On draft. Pours hay/gold with a fluffy white head. Aroma is citrusy, grass, and a slight bit of funk. Taste is like a saison IPA. very fresh hop flavors with a dry funk back. Very nice nimbleprop (8723) - SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA - SEP 16, 2012
64oz growler pours a hazy orange with one ring of white head. Nose is yeasty, bready, orange, earthy, floral, light white grape. Flavor is similar, light honey, slick orange, yeasty, bread, citrus, white grape. Medium bodied, lightly sweet finish. tastybeer (1853) - Indiana, USA - SEP 8, 2012
Draft. Hazy gold pour with a big white head, excellent retention/lace. Aroma of dust, herbal/floral notes, grassy hops, fruity esters, light citrus. Taste is yeast driven: dusty, spicy, banana, clove. Bitter herbal/floral/grassy hops. Palate is soft, creamy, full finish. Excellent. Nickls (2589) - Alexandria, Virginia, USA - SEP 3, 2012
Growler. Bubbly white head on a very vibrant lighter marigold that’s very hazy. Green apple skin, some earth that suggest a touch of brett...but not idea if that’s the actual case...light fruits, banana, lemon and slight grass in the aroma. Flavor is quite similar, lemony hops, some grass, bready yeastiness and light fruits but finishes fairly bitter. Nicely refreshing and my only complaint would be that the body is a bit heavy feeling and lacks a zip. Otherwise, very good stuff. Elwood (3336) - Leesburg, Virginia, USA - SEP 3, 2012
Serving: draft at Fire Works Leesburg. It pours a cloudy yellow with a large off white head. The nose is full of herbal notes. The flavor is complex and has a hint of saison du buff with lots more clove, perfume, and anise notes. Light to medium body with a lasting finish. Interesting.

Taste: Spicy, wheat, faint hop.
Summary: A well made beer, enjoyable and more hoppy than average saison.
Growler from the brewery, 08/27/2012. Pours thick hazy orange, thin white head, fades to spotty surface slick. Aroma of light straw, peppery yeast, nice fruity bouquet of orange, pineapple, banana, with soft herbal finish. Taste is tangerine, other tropical notes, pepper, herbal hops, moderate bitterness, light brett funk. Medium body, dry finish, drinks easy. Reminiscent of some Fantome brews. Really quite nice and tasty. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - AUG 27, 2012
Growler. Large white head, cloudy apple juice body. Aroma is medium sweet, spicy, banana, orange. Taste is moderately sweet, spicy, some banana, orange, light clove, grape. Medium body, some effervescence, very drinkable. Seems like a wheat beer, almost a hoppy hefe. Jriggz7 (117) - Indiana, USA - AUG 22, 2012

Cask at PPD. Pours full haze pineapple. Weak foam. Nose is Stillwater house yeast, spicy white pepper, tangerine pulp. Taste is salty, spicy, medium hoppy. Quite dense and malty with sharper orange and lemon peel. Palate is dense, chalky, bitter, herbal garden. Nice.
