Draft at Meridian Pint for DC Brau’s 3rd Anniversary, Poured a clear dark brown color with a small slightly off-white head. Aroma was light toasted malt, some light coffee and a touch of dried fruits and some light earthy hop. Flavor was some light hops, very light coffee and some very mild chocolate notes. Growler shared with NMann08. Pours a translucent, deep brown with some fluffy white head. Nose like a stout, some dried malt, some bread crust, light coffee, some raisin sweetness. Flavor is absolutely spot on, some light chocolate, some very mild coffee, a little bread crust, some dried fruit. Mostly dry finish. Completely drinkable. Dark mild might be a stretch, because to me this is a session stout. Great idea, great execution, excellent beer. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - NOV 23, 2013
