4oz pour is a clear, bright orange with one ring of white head. Nose is awesome, spruce, pine, pear, bubble gum, candy, a little gin, lightly herbal, honey. Flavor of juniper, pear, apple, pine, honey, orange, some cinnamon. Full bodied, zesty, slightly pepper finish. Very cool. Travlr (26198) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - APR 16, 2012
Draft. Cloudy golden color, scant head. Aroma of vanilla, light citrus. Taste is caramel syrup, vanilla, scotch. Not bad, but I think the normal Citizen is tastier. radagast83 (8504) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - APR 15, 2012
Tap at Meridian Pint for the 1 year anniversary party. Poured a clear golden color, virtually no head whatsoever. Aroma was a light sweet fruit (pear) one, with a strong but not overpowering brandy character. Flavor was smooth brandy pear, with notes of the Belgian ale underneath. Not sure if this one worked out as much as it could have, but an interesting attempt nonetheless.
