Draft at Churchkey. Poured a dark brown color with a wispy off-white head. Aroma was woody, vanilla notes with some light malts. Flavor was full of vanilla, sweet malts and some wood notes and dried fruits. This one had a sweet finish, with a touch of wood that lasted. nimbleprop (8935) - SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA - DEC 22, 2012
On tap at Churchkey. Pours a hazy, deep caramel amber with some spitty, off white head. Nose of bubblegum, fruit, tropical fruit, malt, toast, caramel, apples, some kiwi even. Flavor is sweet, malty, light cherry, bubblegum, a little melon, caramel, raisin. Full bodied but also dry. Very well balanced. I think this was in the barrel the absolute perfect amount of time. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - AUG 14, 2012

Tap at PPD. Pours a murky brown, fully opaque. Small yellow foam. Weak retention. Nose hints at some funky Flemish red wine barrel, acetic, and dark chocolate blend. Very nice. Taste up front is mild acetic and lactic sourness finishing with mega rich Godiva liquor and Baileys Irish Cream. Very rich, heavy palate. Very good. I wonder if DC Brau knows that all of their barrel aged stuff is souring. Be careful if you intend to bottle.
