A great golden ale, I hope this is not actually a limited edition beer as it states in the brewer description. There are way too few good golden ales bottled (canned) AND widely available on a regular basis. Hope to find this often, will purchase. Great.
12oz can. Hazy golden color with white head. Wheat and citrus aroma. Slightly bitter aftertaste. It’s alright. GenDV138 (7764) - Falls Church, Virginia, USA - NOV 7, 2014
12 oz can poured into a Spiegelau tulip. Canned on 9/29/2014. Hazy straw yellow with a no more than a finger of off-white head. Aromas of citrus, wheat, a little hay, light herbs and spices. Pretty light aroma. Tastes of citrus, wheat, light herbs and spices, light hops. Medium-light body with a dry finish. Solid, could see myself knocking back a few if I were at a game. rosenbergh (11871) - Tampere, FINLAND - OCT 29, 2014
12 oz can. (Chevy Chase Liquor) Washington, DC. jgb9348 (6517) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - OCT 25, 2014
Slightly cloudy pale golden colour with a tiny white head.
The aroma is... weak... maybe some mild sweet maltiness.
The flavour is also quite weak with mild hops, mild bitterness, some honey and some sweetish malt. Quite useless drink, maybe it’s good for the athletes.
Very hazy golden coloured body with a thinnish, single centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of grass, yeast, wort and a bit of light sugars - nothing pungent here though. Light-bodied; Strong bitterness from the malt that fades quickly and shows a dry herbal and spicey character, some light sugars and a bit of a honey and floral finish. Aftertaste is fairly simplistic with just light malt and a bit of sugars coming through, but nothing assertive nor offensive - which is a good thing. Overall, a nice and relatively light beer with some decent flavours and a smooth finish. Nice to sample and a decent beer to have while supporting the local football team here. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Whole Foods in Falls Church (Tyson’s Corner) on 19-September-2014 for US$2,49 sampled at home in Washington on 25-October-2014. badgerben (5349) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - OCT 18, 2014
GABF 2014. Yellow color with a large head. Light floral aroma. Honey and grainy flavor with a soft hit of hips on the finish.

Can at home. Pours lightly hazy yellow with a medium, frothy white head, short retention with light lacing. Aroma is corn and Pils malt with light earthy and spicy hops and a light pear ester note. Flavor is sweet corn and Pils malt with light earthy hops and bitterness, clean and a sweet finish. Light body and medium carbonation. JK (6332) - St. Louis Park, Minnesota, USA - SEP 21, 2014
Can. Gold color. Light palate, hardly any flavor or aroma. Not bitter at all, some very light honey flavor. Elwood (3347) - Leesburg, Virginia, USA - SEP 8, 2014
Serving: Can from Wegmans Leesburg. It pours a light gold color with a thin white head. The nose is malt forward with notes of bread, light honey, and a little citrus zest. The flavor is a bit sweet with those same malt notes from the nose. Finishes with a light citrus bitterness. Light body. Bacterial (3060) - Twin Cities, Minnesota, USA - AUG 19, 2014
Can shared by CLevar - thanks! Honey and slightly bready nose. Cool nose and a very different taste. Watery, hoppy in the finish.
