At first this comes off like a quad but the finish is strange. Citrusy. Some florals but a little bit of a mess. Amber pour. Clash of ingredients. Tap. Pastor (799) - Skowhegan, Maine, USA - DEC 6, 2014

Serving: Draft at Leeburg Brewing Company. Hazy, reddish pour with a thin off white ring for a head. Sweet, macerated fruit in the nose. Very sweet with lots of raisin notes on the tongue. Lacks character and is a little one dimensional. Full bodied with a sweet finish.

Draught at The Lost Dog Cafe. This is a nice quad with lots of depth and sweetness. sitzds (318) - - NOV 7, 2013
On tap at the brewery. Taster poured into plastic cup. Hazy amber with a finger of frothy head. Hard to assess lacing or retention. Aromas are honey, warm banana, caramel, raisin, and dates. Taste is brown sugar, yeasty, sweetness then late mild bitterness. Moderate carbonation, more than I like for the style. Dry finish. Nickls (2535) - Alexandria, Virginia, USA - OCT 26, 2013
Tap. Every time I’ve had this, it’s just been OK. I really wanted this to somehow change, but oh well. Light murky brown orange. Bubblegum, toffee, dark grapes, and slight sweetness both for flavor and aromas. Bit thin, and a little slick. BazookaJoe (274) - Washington, Washington DC, USA - JAN 22, 2013
On draft, pours dark orange with a thin white head. Taste is extremely sweet, taste of raisins and caramel.

Pizzeria Paradiso, Georgetown tap ($6): Pours a mahogany color with a beige head. Aroma is dark fruit, dried fruit, a bit of Danzig, some booze, and yeast. Taste is predictable. Somewhat sweet, but not cloyingly. Alcohol is generally well covered. Doesn’t force sipping. Some degree of complexity, but isn’t really crafted to perfection. I was unimpressed for this did not go where eagles dare.
