Can at RBJG#2 Grand Tasting. Pours a hazy amber with an off-white head. Sweet and dry with lots of hops aromas. Mostlyspruce and pine. Lovely hopsprofile. Also some residual sugars. Medium carbonation. Medium to full bodied. Bitter finish with more hops.
June 12, 2015 - with blankboy, jercraigs and mabel - 355ml can. Cool can! Hazy bubbly orange with a tiny white head - and a ton of white sediment. Alcohol and sweet malt, quite bitter; straddles the BW/DIPA divide. Taste is big - citrusy malt and alcohol overpower what seem to be pretty faded hop bitterness - still decent. Thick, light carbonation, medium-length hot finish; would love to try it freshly tapped. slaphands () - - JUL 20, 2017
UPDATED: JUL 20, 2017 On draft, head thick as shaving cream, citrus notes, fantastic DIPA. beerme31 (685) - Holly Springs, North Carolina, USA - MAY 27, 2017
Can. Pours copper medium off white head. Great aroma of citrus and pine. Medium-high sweet taste. Medium body, refreshing sweet and medium bitter finish. Very good imperial ipa. jefcon (1858) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - MAR 14, 2017
Draft. Citrus nose, with some herbalness and resin. Caramel on the palate balances out the heft of the hops. Good balance. Finishes a little wet. suurjuust (3542) - ESTONIA - JAN 28, 2017
UPDATED: JAN 28, 2017 355ml can shared by Margus, thanks! Almost clear orange pour, small white head. Nose is fruity, oranges, malts and caramel. Flavor is sweet, fruity, hoppy. Finish is grapefruity bitterness and mild sweet malts. Lingering grapefruit bitterness. Very drinkable considering the ABV. Pretty nice.

Really decent DIPA. Oft times, the local DIPA efforts lag behind the more well-known west coast big boys, but this stands up to the best. Prue (33) - Havre de Grace, Maryland, USA - JAN 21, 2017
spruce, citrus, citrus, golden, hazy, frothy, white foam, very bitter, medium body, creamy, average carbonation, long finish, JorgeLee (2117) - Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 12, 2016
Can, brought back from DC by Lalitha. Nice amber colour, white foam, vanished a bit quick. Pretty good DIPA this, nice malt balance and big tropical citrus hop with a little pine. Bitterness obviously high but not too much for the malt. Drinks very easily for abv. Good stuff. fonefan (49412) - VestJylland, DENMARK - DEC 7, 2016
