Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and heavy bitter with a long duration, coffee, malt bitter, dusty, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Pitch black colour with a small brown head. Aroma is toasted malts, some ashes, mild salted liquorice as well. Flavour is fruity, ashy, some liquorice and mild toasted notes.

Bottle at RBWG 2013 Grand Tasting. Pours brown with a creamy, beige cap. Burnt milk chocolate nose. Light to medium sweet flavor, some mellow tang, burnt toast, baking cocoa, light bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Some char to finish, tangy dark malts, bitter earth. So so.
