Good IPA with a low alcohol so I can actually session this. It’s got good bitterness, and is definitely drinkable, but perhaps a bit too piney so it loses balance there. However, overall, it’s very good beer, I would definitely recommend it. jcos (1851) - Maryland, USA - JUL 14, 2013

Appearance: Pours a copper clear.
Aroma: Aroma of light pine.
Taste: Medium bitterness, grapefruit, strong backbone.
Palate:Medium light body, sticky.
Summary: I enjoyed this IPA, although after cycling from Rockville to Dupont Circle I think the lighter Junglist would have been the better choice.
Tap. Big foamy offwhite head on a hazy dark rust amber. Pine that comes across more like juniper as well as some slight citrus and tropical fruit sweetness. Flavor is quite piney with spruce being the primary feature. Dry finish and bitter. Medium softer body. Not bad. radagast83 (8299) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - JUL 9, 2013
