On cask at Meridian Pint. Pours a dark gold with some spitty, white head. Very herbal nose, floral, apple compote, spiced pear. Flavor has a ton of spiced pear, apple compote, herbal, clove. Clean finish. Solid treatment. I think Citizen is a great base beer for experimental treatments like this. Travlr (24260) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - JUL 25, 2013
Gravity cask. My favorite of the night at Meridian Pint. Nimbleprop said it best - Citizen just accepts anything you put in the cask, it just works. This one smelled like my grandmother (on my mother’s side) - in a good way, of course. Taste is floral perfume, citrus, subtle spice. Very tasty. radagast83 (8002) - Alexandria, Virginia, USA - JUL 25, 2013
Cask at Meridian Pint. Poured a slightly hazy orange color. Aroma was notes of light flower-like soaps (not soapy). Flavor was light floral notes, lavender notes. Pretty good!
