COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Citizen can best be summed up as "a trip around the world in a can". We start off with our classic recipe that contains American and British hops, and pair them with a distinctive Belgian yeast for a taste that brings together a little bit of everywhere. The Citizen’s nose is of delicate yet floral hops, becoming more fragrant as it warms. This, along side a sweet malt finish, strikes a wonderfully drinkable balance that will bring you all the way back to our nation’s capital. Become a Citizen of the world, one sip at a time!

Liht orange in color, but crisp green apple, with a hint of banana in the flavors. Rather sweet and yeasty. Not much hops, rather sweet and not much standing out. Not my favorite DC Brau.

A pleasant taste. A mediocre aroma. An average appearance. I hate this 75 character minimum. I just want to rate the beer for my own records. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can shared in London - thanks to Clon. Pours clear orange-gold with a creamy, white head. The nose holds some crispy wheat bread, some dried lemon, hay. Light sweet flavour with doughy wheat bread, low bitterness, more citrus peel. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Simple finish, some sweet pae bread, wheat, minimal hops. Enjoyable, if a little basic.

Light florals and some malt. Not a lot else here. Pours golden amber like apricots and has a bit of a tin like finish. Can at El Camino taco joint.

williamstome (1863) - Somerville, Massachusetts, USA - DEC 13, 2016
Gold pour, small white head. Floral, fruity aroma, with notes of banana, yeast, dough. Flavor is similarly fruity, but with a metalic/bloody finish. Weak.
