COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Citizen can best be summed up as "a trip around the world in a can". We start off with our classic recipe that contains American and British hops, and pair them with a distinctive Belgian yeast for a taste that brings together a little bit of everywhere. The Citizen’s nose is of delicate yet floral hops, becoming more fragrant as it warms. This, along side a sweet malt finish, strikes a wonderfully drinkable balance that will bring you all the way back to our nation’s capital. Become a Citizen of the world, one sip at a time!

Like all D.C. Brau beers this comes in right at average. I have complete respect for them because until they arrived in NE D.C. There were no breweries and so they had to establish the local beer scene with a basic foundation of beers. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A pleasant taste. A mediocre aroma. An average appearance. I hate this 75 character minimum. I just want to rate the beer for my own records. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

March 2017 - Can share at Leighton’s Hackney Pad. Thanks Clioino! As ’DC Brau The Citizen’, 7%. Golden orange, still and translucent with a foamy light brown head. Aroma is buttery, grains, butter biscuits. Body is smooth with soft carbonation. Taste is buttery, grains, resin. Very meh indeed. (2.6)

Bottleshare at Chez Smith. Thanks to Colin for the can. Light haze on this gold beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, semi dry and with modest carbonation. Sweetish malts, mild cream. Bubblegum esters. Light ripe fruits. Dry finish. Standard stuff.
