COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Corruption is our take on an India Pale Ale (IPA). We will corrupt your palate with dangerously drinkable malts as well as assertive piney and citrusey hop aromatics, letting some alcohol and sugars sneak through. The crimson copper color coupled with with a nose, filled with plenty of citrus fruits can’t help but bring you down to our level. This is one shady deal that you won’t be able to pass up!

ABUSEDGOAT (2793) - California, USA - SEP 18, 2017
Hazy orange with a white head that lasts. Aroma is grapefruit, citrus, wood, caramel, orange. Medium bodied, moderate bitterness, flavor matches the aroma. Very similar to the DFH IPAs.

Pours a clear bright orange with an off white foamy head. Aroma of citrus and hops. A bit harsh and bitter. Not as flavorful as I expected. Ok but not that great.

MacNJ (103) - New Jersey, USA - SEP 3, 2017
Picked up a six pack of cans during a visit to D.C. The nose is boozy and tropical fruits. Poured cooper with a thin head in a pint glass. Earthy taste with a pine bite. Very balanced with a malt backbone. Locally, NJ's Spellbound IPA has a similar hop flavor, but this one is smoother. Liked the story on Henry Clay and John Quincy Adams (The Corrupt Bargain). Cheers!

Popped open a car from Total Wine, South Richmond, while being disgusted with humanity. Pours murky orange. Small off-white head. Overly resiny aroma - I know I’m not going to like this, and it seems fitting. Flavor is resin, pine, grapefruit peel, caramel malt, licorice, dirt. Yea, don’t care for it. It tastes like little thought was put into it.

bhensonb (15505) - Woodland, California, USA - JUL 5, 2017
Tap at Bar Symon at Dulles. Pours copper with a beige head. Aroma is piney/citrus. Med body at least. Flavor is strong pine/citrus with a roasty malt character making me think of a best bitter on steroids. Good ale.

mathieuc (4000) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - MAY 31, 2017
On tap at Ellas Wood Fired Pizza in DC. Nose is a bit soapy and piney. Taste is moderately bitter and lightly sweet. Soapy hops, caramel. Some fruits. Body is medium, carbonation moderate. Alright but definitely oldschool.

ttoadee (1536) - Austin, Texas, USA - MAY 13, 2017
Light bronze pour, off white head. Nose is malt and cedar. Bitter. Middle is dank bitterness, nice medium malt backbone, and some bark. Finish is evenly bitter.

jbruner (5021) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - APR 13, 2017
Pours a clear golden orange on tap with bubbly off-white head that leaves moderate lace. Aroma of mild piney hops with a hint of caramel malt. Taste follows, clean and simple old school east coast IPA, like 2 hearted light. Not bad but not exciting.

Aggiebob (1216) - Huntsville, Alabama, USA - MAR 9, 2017
Draft. Orangeish gold in color with a white head and lacing. Hoppy aroma and taste with notes of grapefruit. Moderately bitter.
