Can. Pours a coppery amber with a thin head of suds and aromas of silo grain dust and a little floral hops (maybe?). Flavor is malt heavy with a bit of bitterness that seems more amber ale and less IPA, but what do I know? It's a fair enough beer, but the color, aroma and flavor don't work as an IPA unless you are in England. VastActiv (8081) - Oulu/Helsinki, FINLAND - JAN 30, 2018
Tap at Bar Symon, Dulles Airport, Virginia. Color is clear orange with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Some fruits, pine, some hints of caramel, spices, spruce, some herbal elements, perfume, some hops and malts. Weird herbal IPA. Capa (3715) - DC, Washington DC, USA - JAN 12, 2018
Copper. Harsh bitterness with resin and orange. Some sweet caramel malt. Medium bodied. Finish has plenty of lingering bitterness. Decent. Cimbasso (1088) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 19, 2017
Sampled on draught at Washington Dulles Airport. Clear amber with a fading white head. Aroma is very muted. Flavour is quite bitter and slightly metallic. Tastes like rye is used in the brew. Powerfully bitter flavours of grapefruit skin and pine resin. Plenty of alcohol but very astringent indeed. I did not find this very pleasant to drink. drjay44 (3925) - Salida, Colorado, USA - DEC 5, 2017
12 oz. can. Canned 2/28/17. Pours a medium, well retained, light ivory head, with moderate lacing, over a hazy amber (SRM 9) body.....nose is fruits with grapefruit, pine, moderate toasted malts, dankness, grass, balance to the hops.....taste is slightly malt sweet to start, becoming dry with bread, cracker tones, dankness, light fruit tones, finishing with lingering mildly harsh bitterness......mouth feel, medium light body, no alcohol, moderate carbonation. Given when this beer was canned, it is a bit too old for the style, having lost some of the subtle and enjoyable hop aromas and flavors. It was a gift from someone who had visited Washington D.C. Not sure if this can was off, but giving this a rating based on what I sampled. As far as the style goes, this would be towards the lower tier. Leans towards an English IPA, which is my least favorite sub-style...so that may explain it. Seems way to sweet...needs more hops. Think this is one that I will stay away from. Canned 10/13/17 at Farmbird, DC. Pours orange golden, deep color. White head. Aroma is lots of astringent orange and grapefruit citrus. Really big malt backbone lends quite a bit of caramel. Very resinous. Very standard. Decent. LilBeerDoctor (4277) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 24, 2017
Can. Pours a hazy orange brown with some particles and a white head. Aroma of citrus, caramel malts, light fruits, earthy hops. Flavor of pale malts, earthy hops, mild citrus, light fruits. Malt forward IPA. Not sure if this 6 pack might have been damaged since the beers had lots of particles. I will have to try it again. It's not bad though!

Draft in Reagan National airport. Mild floral smells. Pours orange brown with a white head that disappears fast. Nice round tastes of hops and malt well balanced. Oily mouthfeel and low carbonation. Very drinkable. omhper (26039) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - OCT 5, 2017
Canned at SBWF. Clear deep golden, small head. Grapefruity nose with odd notes of Gruyére cheese. Mid dry with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Crisp bread, apricots and citrus. Piney resinous bitter finish.
