COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Corruption is our take on an India Pale Ale (IPA). We will corrupt your palate with dangerously drinkable malts as well as assertive piney and citrusey hop aromatics, letting some alcohol and sugars sneak through. The crimson copper color coupled with with a nose, filled with plenty of citrus fruits can’t help but bring you down to our level. This is one shady deal that you won’t be able to pass up!

Pours copper with nice white head. Aroma is citrus fruit and pine needles. Flavor is pine hops with a hint of moldy fruit. Bitterness average and finish lasting.

Tap at Churchkey. Nice, assertive hop punch that’s diluted by too big a malt backbone. Bitter after that lingers forever. Tasty, for sure, but I’ll take my NWIPAs any day.

Tasted on 4/7/12 from a can. Pours clear bright orange with a thick white head that leaves average lace. The nose is nice resin and citrus peel hops with some bread malt. Flavor is the same, very dry with pleasant citrus peel bitterness. The body is medium with average, smooth carbonation and a long bitter resin hops finish.

12 oz can. Pours hazy orange with tall, long lasting, fluffy white head and nice lacing. Aroma is of citrusy hops, orange fruit and bready malt. Body is medium and crisp. Citrusy hops, bready malt and ripe fruit fill the mouth. Finish is long and bitter. I expected more from this brew.

Pine/resin/citrus on the nose exploding from the can. Much of the same in the taste. Very enjoyable.

Strong resin and pine, hints of bitter grapefruit, and of course the hops themselves. Ever so light sweetness, a bit earthy. Quite a good canned beer.

One of the best East Coast IPA’s I’ve had. Really big candied fruit and and subtle pine. Tastes like a big juicy mess of candied fruit its great. Theres a sweet malt backbone that doesn’t dominate the beer which happens so often. Really good ipa

Very good ipa. Aroma is more on the piney side than the citrusy (although some hints do appear). Taste is plenty of the pine, resin hop flavor that is positioned nicely by the malt, which gives a thickness and amber hue. Finish is a bitter zip with a medium body that lingers just a bit. Overall, very good.
