The Corruption is our take on an India Pale Ale (IPA). We will corrupt your palate with dangerously drinkable malts as well as assertive piney and citrusey hop aromatics, letting some alcohol and sugars sneak through. The crimson copper color coupled with with a nose, filled with plenty of citrus fruits canít help but bring you down to our level. This is one shady deal that you wonít be able to pass up!

12 oz can. Canned on 07/07/2014. (Grape & Gourmet) Virginia Beach, VA.
Hazy light brown colour with a small dense foamy off-white head. Citrus, pine and mild resin, moderate bitterness, sweetish malt and some dryness in the aroma. Delicious. The flavour is resiny, citrusy and piney hops, moderate bitterness, dry malt and mild alcohol. Tasty and very drinkable.

355ml Can as a gift brought back from Virignia, USA:
Medium strength hops & bitterness consisting mainly of pine & cedar with some sweetness & lighter malts too, giving the beer a nice balance. Some citrus & juicy fruits start to come through towards the end but the aroma could have been a little stronger.
Hazy orange/amber with a 0.5cm foamy, white head that holds well initially with little movement before eventually turning patchy.
Pine & citrus hops with quite a bitter taste but there is also floral flavours. The sweetness isnít as strong but thankfully the taste was more pronounced with some caramel/sweet malts & grapefruit. Quite nice but I was expecting a more hop filled taste that.
Smooth with a medium body & good carbonation, naturally quite bitter but itís not too strong with a dry finish & a crisp, sharp bite as well.

My 2nd DC Brau & itís another good one. Iíd been told this offering was quite disappointed but I found it nice & easy to drink, the nose could have been a bit stronger but it was still and good beer & would probably be one Iíd go back to now and again if it were readily available in the UK.

Appearance was hazy orangish gold with creamy white 1 finger head, rings of lacing. Aromas are citrus, soft pine, pith with slight malt sweetness. Taste is grapefruit, orange, mango, lemon zest with middle malt sweet backbone and clean bitter end. Palate was smooth creaMy CO2 with medium body, then citrusy, piney lasting finish. Overall is an IPA, Thx Nimbleprop from Mystery Box trade.

Can... Pours cloudy and dirty-orange with a mid-sized, creamy, off-white head. Fantastic retention. The aroma is toasty and biscuity, but also offers lesser notes of pine and citrus peel. Medium-bodied with tingly carbonation. The flavor presents caramel and medium to heavy citrus peel bitterness. Dry, grassy finish.

Tastes like a black IPA. Very sweet malt backbone, but plenty of hops on the nose to keep it fresh. Poured from a can into tulip glass, but would love to try this fresh at the source and see how much more aromatic the hops might be.

Well executed west coast IPA. Big pine and citrus, moderate resin. Tangy in the middle, maybe tangerine, with lingering bitterness. Light cereal backbone. Cloudy. Solid choice when fresh.
