Dark orange pour. Hops are well balanced making this a session able IPA. Very well done, an all around good ale.

Pleasurably soapy and sweet aroma of marshmallow peeps, orange peel, orange blossoms, and grapefruit. Clear amber, thick yellow head, nice lacing. Honey, thistle, and lemongrass flavor. Bubblegum present, alcohol is not. Fantastic balance, dynamic. This is really awesome. craftbeerdesign (2254) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - JUL 18, 2012

Pours a medium amber with a nice 2 fingers of off-white head in my tulip glass. Nose is lemony and grassy with a bit of a toasty, biscuity note. Taste has bitter grapefruit and grass notes from the hops and a bit of a subdued roasted malt backbone to round it out. Creamy, medium body. Nice hop forward IPA from my old city!

Pours clear amber-orange with a one finger off white head with pretty nice lacing. Aroma is of citrus, pine resin, dank hops, herbal/grassy hops, and some light bready and sweet malts. Taste is fresh citrus, pine, tropical fruits, herbal hops, caramel, and sweet malts. Has a medium body with a pretty creamy mouthfeel and a slightly dry, moderately bitter, medium-long finish. Overall, a pretty tasty IPA that almost seems likes a hoppy west coast amber ale like Modern Time’s Blazing World. haukur (1957) - Reykjavik, ICELAND - JUN 7, 2012
dark orange amber colour with a thick head. Very piney aroma. Taste is floral, full of nice bitter hops. Long tingeling bitterness. Good stuff from DC, thanks to Skye for this treat! daknole (11049) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - OCT 28, 2012

One of the best East Coast IPAs I?ve had. In addition to the perfectly hopped flavor, it has a freshing, hoppy scent with a hint of Christmas tree. So beautiful in a glass, you can?t resist drinking it! BuckNaked (1230) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - JAN 9, 2013
Draught: Pours to a light amber colored body, medium white head. Aroma is strong hops: grapefruit, wet grass, and a touch of light malt. Flavor is chewy hops upfront (grapefruit, pine), with a strong bitterness that lasts through the finish, which is also grapefruit hops. Medium bodied, medium carbonation. My first beer from this brewery since leaving DC years ago, and this is fantastic.
