Poured into snifter and had one straight outta the can. Its a two beer kinda night. Aroma of piney hop goodness. I couldnt stop thinking that it was just sticky. Really nice hop aroma, piney grassy notes, lot of american hops in this one (well done DC beer, well done). Taste is straight american hops, but theres no way to describe it but dank. Its sticky. Its american hops in your face, but its not biting on the alchohol, its actually quite smooth and hides the 6.5 quite well. Delicious and Excellent. zizzybalubba (1891) - Raleigh, North Carolina, USA - AUG 19, 2013
12 oz. can from Total Wine, Virginia Beach, VA. Rusty orange pour with a frothy off-white head. Aroma of wet grass and grapefruit rind mostly. Faint toffee malts creep up in the background of the aroma. Bitter floral and piney hops smack the tongue first but fade rather quickly so they are not too overwhelming. The finish is still grassy and Earthy. A really well done IPA. pineypower (3350) - Ocean County, New Jersey, USA - NOV 1, 2013
Can. Pours a nice amber color with a small off white head. Aroma is of nice pine needles, grapefruit, orange rind and light malty sweetness. Taste is a nice punch of citrusy/piney hops, light resin, some mild sweet, doughy malt notes before another dose of rather intense bitterness, this one is really tasty and possibly my new favorite canned IPA I can get in NJ. 21 nov 2013, tap. Light ruby, clear, no bubbles. Nose is very earthy and very grassy hops. Med body and mildly fizzy. Tastes of bitter grass stems, sweet malt, pine hops. Wow!

Can (courtesy of Travlr). Tangerine malt and grapefruit peel/pine aroma. Hazy golden yellow with moderate head. Sweet creamy orange malt and moderately bitter orange peel/pine flavor. Nice balance. Very good.

Solid IPA from the capitol! Pour is a nice amber with a thin white head. Aroma is hoppy and the finish is great. Ctplt777 (533) - Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA - JAN 23, 2015
One of the best East Coast IPA’s I’ve had. Really big candied fruit and and subtle pine. Tastes like a big juicy mess of candied fruit its great. Theres a sweet malt backbone that doesn’t dominate the beer which happens so often. Really good ipa Bork (461) - Rosewood, Georgia, USA - APR 29, 2015
Nice and fresh with well balanced bitterness that lasts. Long finish not for those with a sweet tooth. Aldrichio (1) - Alabama, USA - SEP 13, 2015 does not count
I just like the taste of this beer. I don’t know enough about beer yet to give an analytical type of rating.
