09/27/2013. From can. Pours dark amber with an offwhite head. Aromas of fresh hops, flowers, caramel, pine and citrus. Very refreshing and with a nice bitter hoppy finish. JStax (7017) - Devola/Marietta, Ohio, USA - OCT 13, 2013
12 ounce can thanks to nimbleprop. Pours a densely hazy copper with a big white head of foam. Splotchy lacing. The aroma has notes of grapefruit and some lighter grassy notes. The taste is more on the sweeter side with what I would call an herbal, grapefruity bitterness kicking in about mid-palate. Dries out in the finish to leave a mild bitterness lingering on the tongue. Draft at ChurchKey. Clear amber pour, nice offwhite head, good retention and lacing. Big fruity hop aroma, accented by pine and more grapefruit. Taste: reasonably dry, assertively bitter finish. Just enough sweetness to keep it balanced. Medium body, oily texture. Really quite nice, much better than I recall from the can that was shared months ago.
