Bottle shared by a local BA member. Pours a cloudy yellow color with a medium sized thin white head. The aroma is sweet bananas and some additional green fruity notes (apples?). The flavor is banana, yeast, additional fruits with a doughy maltiness. Medium bodied with fizzy carbonation. This was not as bad as advertised, but still is nothing more than a novelty. On tap at GBBF 2010, 3rd Aug 2010. Cloudy orange. Great nose - banana and sultanas as promised. Incredibly drinkable - fruity yet not over sweet. Still very beery/ Perfect liveliness on the tongue. A real surprise find of the festival for me. jtclockwork (16444) - , New Jersey, USA - AUG 31, 2010
UPDATED: SEP 10, 2010 Bottle. Pours orange with white head. Lots of sediment. Nose of farmhouse, basement aromas and tons of banana. Taste is like a banana farmhouse ale. Some raisin. Very funky. 22415brewery (379) - Washington, USA - JUL 26, 2010
This is a very drinkable and surprisingly decent banana/raisin beer. It’s a slightly hazy wheat beer with quite a bit more alcohol punch. Aroma is of strong estery banana, vanilla, clove, and hints at barnyard. Carbonation is effervescent and it keeps a thick cap of dense white foam. Slightly creamy initial mouthfeel gives way to a fairly dry finish. Tastes a bit astringent, a little tart, and even slightly metallic, the banana character is overwhelming and definitely is the focal point of this beer. Capped 750ml from MJRBC. Hazy, dirty gold with a white head. Strange overripe banana and dust nose, some light citrus fruit notes. Taste is strange - the banana comes through is spades, strong and sweet, but the dustiness and the fruitiness does not work for me here. Tough to rate, really, seems well done but doesn’t "work".Not dring=king another anytime soon.

Pours a hazy golden orange with small white head. Aromas of banana (runts), fruit and spice characteristic of Belgian yeast. Taste is mildly sweet, mildly tart, with notes of banana and other fruitiness typical of a golden ale with a mildly spicy finish. Light to medium body with prickly carbonation. robforbes (2238) - Bremerton, Washington, USA - JUN 20, 2010
pours a cloudy brown-yellow with a small dirty-white head, and a little lacing.
smell is of ripe banana cream pie, some spice, and malt in the back.
taste is of banana, some malt, some spice, and a touch of vanilla, ends creamy with a predominate banana aftertaste. jkwalking05 (4734) - Arlington, Texas, USA - MAY 19, 2010
Hazy gold with a small white head. Aroma is of banana and caramel. Taste is of banana laffy taffy, caramel, sugar and banana bread. RichardGretton (4758) - Leicestershire, ENGLAND - APR 22, 2010
Bottle. Dulled light brownish beer with a light head. The aroma is lightly banana and slightly toffee, and the flavour is banana, mildly hopped and spiced. Overall not bad for a banana flavoured beer. garthicus (2925) - Dublin, IRELAND - APR 3, 2010
Thanks to SwoopJones. Appearance: Cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma: Stewed banana/plantains, chemical-candy too. Flavour: Like a melted banana candy mixed with soda water. Ukkk.
