On tap at GBBF 2010, 3rd Aug 2010. Cloudy orange. Great nose - banana and sultanas as promised. Incredibly drinkable - fruity yet not over sweet. Still very beery/ Perfect liveliness on the tongue. A real surprise find of the festival for me. nuplastikk (6414) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 13, 2008
UPDATED: JUN 16, 2008 750ml bottle. Light and slightly cloudy golden color. Sweet banana aroma all the way. Sweet banana flavor as well. Really impressive beer for the style, earning points for not being syrup based. The alcohol lends an almost tripel-like quality to the beer, but the bananas and sultanas secure a nice smooth, sweet finish. Good stuff, worth a try if you are into fruit beers. Pours a hazy golden orange with small white head. Aromas of banana (runts), fruit and spice characteristic of Belgian yeast. Taste is mildly sweet, mildly tart, with notes of banana and other fruitiness typical of a golden ale with a mildly spicy finish. Light to medium body with prickly carbonation. sthlm (790) - Blank, Alabama, USA - APR 7, 2009
[Bottle, thanks argo0!] Pours hazy deep gold with a tiny white head. Aroma is very reminiscent of banana bread, and I like it. The taste has some grape and alcohol to go along with banana and malt in the finish. Pretty good mouthfeel, and very smooth. The aroma on this was very simple, but enjoyable, while the taste definitely fell short. Overall another unique beer that was definitely interesting to try. OK, I’m gonna say right off the bat that I liked this WAY more than I thought I would. Definitely smells like banana, though maybe in a slightly artificial way, like perhaps Now or Later or Runts candy. Flavor is banana - banana bread, actually - with notes of vanilla and walnuts and toast. Pretty enjoyable, actually.

From cask at GBBF 2013. Orange color with thin head. Smooth texture. Actually not bad. Nice banana aroma. ianwelby (1476) - SCOTLAND - JUN 24, 2016
Hazy orange. Very strong banana smell and taste follows suit thought it’s crispier and tangier than the wheat beer style I was expecting. bitter (1136) - Henderson, Nevada, USA - AUG 10, 2004
bottled at gbbf: wanting to try something different (not a cask ale) we hopped over to the international beer and tried this little beer. not nearly as bad as the rates suggest in my opinion. very much a belgium tripel tasting beer with notes of wheat, bubblegum, sugar and BANANA...better then most fruit beers in that the banana is not overpowering and you can taste the backbone of the beer pushing thorugh. not bad. not bad at all. How could anyone rate the aroma of theis beer below a 10. Unfiltered orange color. More banana aroma then taste, tart finish. Very enjoyable. Wouldnt be able to drink more then one in a night. would love to find this beer again.
